IFTER fuse modules are designed to protect power supply circuits and are equipped with eight cartridge fuses, each circuit additionally protected by an interference and surge filter. A blown fuse is indicated by the deactivation of a dedicated LED indicator and by sending a consolidated signal to a control contact. The use of the module ensures short-circuit isolation—for example, in case of damage caused by vandalism to a reader—so that other system components, including the electric strike and controller, maintain full functionality and control over the access point.
