The system enables precise identification of the hazard location, displaying sensors, the direction of fire spread, and the current status of security measures directly on the facility’s floor plans. IFTER EQU2 actively supports operators and, through the use of mobile devices, also provides real-time data to security personnel in the field.
In emergency situations, the system dynamically indicates the most optimal evacuation routes, eliminating paths leading toward the hazard. This ensures efficient and safe evacuation, which not only increases employee protection but can also significantly contribute to lowering the facility’s insurance costs.
Evacuation Monitoring and Access Control – IFTER EQU ACC
An integral component of the security system in industrial facilities is the IFTER EQU ACC access control system, which enables monitoring of evacuation effectiveness during critical situations. The system allows for the unambiguous identification of individuals who were in the danger zone at the time of the incident and tracks how many employees have reached the assembly points.
Card readers are installed at evacuation points, where employees swipe their identification tags. In locations where stationary readers cannot be installed, mobile readers are utilized. These devices display the number of individuals still remaining within the endangered area. To streamline the evacuation process, multiple mobile readers can be used simultaneously across various locations.
Management of Entry, Internal Traffic, and Logistics
IFTER mobile readers are also utilized for site entry control. They enable rapid and unambiguous verification of employee permissions without the need to leave the vehicle. This solution streamlines the security personnel’s workflow and increases traffic flow at the entrance gates.
The access control system also supports the control of gates and barriers, specifically tailored for forklift operations. After swiping a card at a reader mounted on the vehicle, the operator selects the gate number they wish to open, significantly enhancing the plant’s internal logistics.
Visitor Pre-registration and Visit Management
In industrial facilities, IFTER EQU ACC is also utilized for the pre-registration and handling of visitors. Even before an external person arrives at the plant, all data regarding the visit and the host employee are recorded in the system.
Upon the visitor’s arrival, an access card is issued, and the designated employee receives an automated notification. Returning the card — via security personnel or a drop box at the gate — results in the immediate revocation of access rights and the automatic opening of the exit. The host is then notified that the visit has concluded.
Systems Integration and Perimeter Protection
The IFTER EQU2 system integrates all elements of the security infrastructure, enabling centralized management of fire protection, access control, monitoring, and perimeter security. Within the framework of perimeter protection, the system allows for the automatic control of camera feeds to ensure rapid intruder identification and an immediate response from security services.
