EQU ACC

Advanced Access Control for your facaility

What is EQU ACC

IFTER EQU ACC is an advanced access control and time & attendance system based on an SQL database, designed for both small-scale installations and extensive facilities with over 1,000 access points. We offer devices that meet Grade 4 requirements as well as lower grades in accordance with the PN-EN 60839-11 standard, allowing for a solution that is perfectly balanced between needs and budget. All controllers are equipped with an Ethernet port, facilitating easy system scaling.

The system provides extensive configuration options and convenient management of even the most widespread structures through the grouping of devices and users. Supporting multiple cards assigned to a single person ensures data continuity, while advanced features such as anti-passback, interlocking (mantrap), and evacuation monitoring enhance the overall security level. A dedicated web application enables permission management and reporting from any location.

EQU ACC is an integral part of the IFTER EQU2 platform, which integrates security and automation systems and has been utilized for 27 years in approximately 3,500 facilities worldwide.

User and Access Management

  • Advanced Permission Management: Administrators can create precise permission templates dedicated to specific organizational groups—an ideal solution for multi-tenant facilities or complex corporate structures.
  • Microsoft Active Directory Integration: The system automatically imports users from AD and assigns door permissions. If a user is removed from AD, their credentials are automatically blocked in the security system.
  • Multi-Credential Support: One person can be assigned multiple cards, plus access via PIN, QR codes, and License Plate Recognition (LPR). The system supports issuing one-day duplicate cards and cardless access.
  • Comprehensive Anti-passback: Implementation of various anti-passback types (global, local, soft, hard, timed, and periodic) allows for perfect alignment with specific client security requirements.
  • Interlocking (Mantrap) Configuration: Highly flexible interlocking setups, ranging from simple two-door configurations to complex relational and zone-based logic.

Operational Supervision and Administrative Functions

  • Web Service Interface: Access to event logs, analytics, occupancy lists, and Time & Attendance (T&A) data. Available via any web browser, including mobile devices.
  • Advanced Reception and Visitor Management: A module for visit registration, card issuance, and automated cleanup of expired entries. Supports ID scanners to streamline the receptionist’s workflow. Visitors receive only necessary permissions, and the system can require card return (via drop-box) to grant exit and revoke access rights.
  • Occupancy and Access Monitoring: Real-time tracking of user data, photos, and headcount within specific areas—critical for evacuation procedures and automation scenarios.
  • Group Access Control: Perform actions like opening, locking, or triggering evacuation modes for groups of doors with a single click or via pre-defined schedules.
  • Reports, Analytics, and Data Export: Comprehensive reporting for users, access points, events, vehicles, and cards, with export options to popular file formats.

System Architecture and Infrastructure Security

  • Data Protection and Operator Restrictions: Ability to restrict data visibility and assign operators to specific organizational groups to ensure privacy and security compliance.
  • Advanced Diagnostics: Controllers log all changes regarding power supply, data transmission, and even internal temperature, memory usage, and CPU load. This market-leading diagnostic suite allows for rapid troubleshooting of the installation.
  • High Offline Capacity: Each controller stores up to 1 million cards and 500,000 events in its internal memory, ensuring long-term autonomous operation if connection to the management server is lost.
  • Massive Scalability: Supports up to 65,000 controllers in a single Ethernet network (handling up to 585,000 access points). If needed, servers can link multiple parallel subnets for virtually unlimited expansion.
  • Global Monitoring and Logic – Utilizing a global management controller enables global anti-passback across multiple sites (e.g., in different cities), global interlocking, and centralized monitoring of power supplies and controller health.

Integration with CCTV and Intercoms (SIP) - The system automatically displays live video feeds upon alarm triggers and provides access to historical recordings. Operators can both receive and initiate intercom calls directly through the interface

Key Management System Integration - Access permissions for keys are assigned automatically. The system can prevent a user from exiting the facility until all keys have been returned to the electronic key cabinet.

License Plate Recognition (LPR) - Seamless entry and exit management for vehicles via automated LPR technology.

Fire Alarm System (FAS/SAP) Integration - Provides unified visualization and automatic door unlocking during evacuation. The system generates real-time occupancy lists and integrates card readers at assembly points to track evacuated personnel.

Advanced Anti-passback - A sophisticated security feature that prevents card sharing and unauthorized re-entry, ensuring strict adherence to access control protocols.

Random Sobriety Testing – Breathalyzer Integration: The system can randomly select users for sobriety testing and automatically block access if a positive result is detected.
