The history of IFTER is a story of continuous evolution — from system visualization tools to advanced platforms that integrate security and access control with dedicated hardware. We began as a small team of specialists who wanted to combine technical expertise with a practical understanding of the daily challenges faced by security personnel and facility administrators. Subsequent deployments, user feedback, and collaboration with integrators have led us to where IFTER stands today: a stable software manufacturer that understands the critical importance of transparency, reliability, and system scalability.

Company Development Over the Years
2000: The Beginning of InPro BMS Our journey began with the first version of InPro BMS. It was a tool designed to integrate core security systems: Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection (IDS), and Fire Alarms (FAS). Operating on a local database with simple, single-workstation visualization, it served as the modest yet vital foundation for decades of growth.
2002: Embracing TCP/IP A seemingly technical shift that opened a new chapter. By introducing TCP/IP support, the system transcended single workstations and facilities, enabling operation over local networks and the internet.
2004: Transition to SQL and Open Protocols A major evolution occurred with the migration to the InterBase SQL database, significantly improving data management and external integrations. InPro BMS became a truly multi-workstation system, supporting open protocols such as Modbus, OPC, and M-Bus. For integrators, this transformed the system into a central hub for supervising diverse technologies.
2007: InPro BMS 4 – A New Benchmark We launched InPro BMS 4, which became our reference point for years to come. The system introduced a flexible work environment, advanced visualization, and the capacity to handle up to 30,000 elements. Moving to Oracle databases and expanding integration capabilities allowed us to serve large-scale, high-demand facilities.
2015: The Premiere of IFTER EQU Rather than a mere update, IFTER EQU represented a new generation of software. Designed for Windows 10 and broader integration than its predecessor, it offered support for up to 100,000 elements, vector visualization, and web access, ushering in a modern and flexible operational model.
2016: Launch of the IFTER EQU ACC Proprietary System We took a strategic step by developing our own access control system: IFTER EQU ACC. Designed from the ground up as part of a larger security ecosystem, it offered Grade 2 and Grade 3 security compliance, support for tens of thousands of cards, and real-time monitoring—ideal for demanding, distributed facilities.
2018: IFTER EQU v2 – A Mature Platform. IFTER EQU v2 refined and expanded our solutions. We increased scalability to 200,000 elements, enhanced cluster support, and introduced automations that significantly reduced configuration time. EQU became a mature platform, easily adaptable to the specific needs of any facility.
2022: IFTER EQU ACC G4 – High-Security Standards The introduction of IFTER EQU ACC G4 marked a milestone in high-level security. Designed for critical infrastructure and military facilities, this Grade 4 system supports up to one million cards and 500,000 events per controller. It defines our current technological standard and future direction.
2025: Expanding the Hardware Ecosystem We broadened our portfolio with a new line of devices, including a Time and Attendance (T&A) reader, a mobile access reader, and a reader compatible with DUOX technology. This step reinforces our commitment to a complete hardware-software ecosystem that supports both complex security systems and daily user convenience.
