Integrated security systems for commercial facilities
Comprehensive solutions implemented in commercial facilities include:
- Fire Protection: Certified systems for early detection and hazard mitigation.
- Access Control: Managing the movement of employees and visitors within the building.
- Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV): Real-time video surveillance and recording.
- Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS/SSWiN): Protecting the perimeter and sensitive internal zones against unauthorized entry.
- Lighting Control: Automated management for energy efficiency and security.
- Utility Consumption Monitoring: Tracking the use of water, electricity, and gas to optimize costs.
All these systems are integrated and visualized in the IFTER EQU2 platform, which serves as the central tool for managing security and facility infrastructure
IFTER EQU2 – centralized management and visualization
The IFTER EQU2 system enables management of a single facility or a group of commercial facilities from one interface. In shopping centers and office buildings, this solution is most commonly operated by on-site security personnel responsible for ongoing security supervision.
In banking facilities, the system is also used directly by employees, enabling easy verification of security status—such as door and window closure—before arming the alarm system. Intuitive visualization allows non-technical personnel to easily manage data from intrusion systems, access control, and video surveillance
Early threat detection and operator support
In commercial facilities, particular emphasis is placed on early detection of fire hazards and effective support for intervention operations. IFTER EQU2 presents the dynamic status of detectors, passages, and other security system elements directly on the facility’s architectural plans.
On a daily basis, the system is also used to detect theft-related incidents through automatic correlation of intrusion system events with CCTV camera footage. This approach reduces operator response time and increases the effectiveness of protective measures.
Process automation and integration with building automation
The IFTER EQU2 system not only supports operators but also takes over part of operational activities. Key automatic functions include:
- automatic arming of rooms after users leave them,
- shutting down ventilation and air conditioning in unused zones,
- integration with building automation systems.
In the event of a preliminary fire alarm, IFTER EQU2 can transmit a signal to the BMS system for controlled (“soft”) shutdown of equipment, protecting installations from damage resulting from sudden power disconnection
Access control and people flow management – IFTER EQU ACC
In all commercial facilities, IFTER EQU ACC access control plays a key role in separating zones accessible to customers from areas designated exclusively for employees. The system is also used for time and attendance recording.
In office buildings, IFTER EQU ACC enables active guest traffic management, including:
- access control to individual tenants,
- monitoring guest movement,
- parking availability management.
This process is implemented using the visitor notification and management module, which streamlines visit handling and increases the level of security in the facility.
