Transmission Security
Communication with the network infrastructure is implemented via two independent Fast Ethernet ports. The device utilizes the TCP/IP protocol, gathering information from access controllers and sending control instructions to them in real time. The applied technology ensures instantaneous data exchange, which is essential for the correct operation of global functions without delays in user authorization.
Security between reader and card
EQU-CAP offers advanced hardware and logical protection:
- Surge Protection: Effective protection of LAN ports (up to 150A) and power supply lines (up to 600W) guarantees stable operation in environments exposed to interference.
- Status Monitoring: Integrated LEDs signal correct power supply and indicate when the device enters a specialized service mode.
- Logical Security: By managing global anti-passback, the device enforces the use of individual identifiers and prevents card sharing or multiple people entering using a single credential. This allows for the effective detection of individuals entering through non-controlled points.
Durable construction
The device is enclosed in a durable metal housing, which increases mechanical resistance and facilitates heat dissipation. Its compact dimensions (118 x 109.5 x 35.6 mm) and universal mounting system allow for vertical or horizontal installation on a standard 35 mm DIN rail.
Communication and power supply
EQU-CAP serves as a bridge between the hardware layer and advanced management software. The system’s intuitive interface allows for the full customization of reporting parameters and extensive management of access control and time and attendance data. The system automatically notifies the operator of anti-passback violation attempts, enabling rapid verification and remote unlocking of users.
